In this talk with Mr. N A Shah Ansari, Vice President, Community Radio Association we are discussing about the Community Radio Movement in India and its corresponding issues of licensing and regulation. Mr. Ansari talks about the need to have Community Radio Stations in high security prone areas. Establishment of Community Radio Stations in such areas would help in reaching out to the people with information regarding government schemes and rights entitlements leading to a better lifestyle and livelihood. He stresses on the fact that it is important to promote the voice of the community which is the need of today.
