A four-day CRFC Internship Workshop for Community Radio practitioners is to be held in New Delhi from January 27. The candidates would be trained in the CR licensing procedure, DAVP Empanelment and responsibilities related to community radio. This would enable the grassroots leaders that we create to facilitate interested applicants to apply for Community Radio and the licensing procedure. The idea behind this is to have an extended team outside New Delhi to help organisations and new applicants wishing to set up their own Community Radio Station. In so doing, the people going through this workshop will act as peers for new CR applicants.
