Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has decided to hold Open House Meeting with the representatives of operating Community Radio Stations and applicants.

The first Open House Meeting will be held on 1st July 2014 between 11.00 am to 12.00 Noon. Supriya Sahu, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting will chair the meeting.

The Open House Meeting aims to bring transparency and accountability in granting permissions and licenses to Community Radio Stations. The will also act as a forum for the applicants and operating Community Radio Stations to track the status of their applications pending with various other ministries for clearances including home affairs, defence & WPC and DAVP.

These meetings can be attended by the authorised representatives of Community Radio applicants, Community Radio Permission holders and operating Community Radio Station.
