Archana Kapoor, General Secretary, Community Radio Association (CRA) stressed on the importance of the Screening Committee and explained, the process behind the meeting, the process of inviting applicants for the meeting as well as the kind of questions asked by the Committee. She explained that the procedure of Screening Committee meeting is very positive is nature and all the stakeholders present at the meet want more and more licenses to be issued to organisations so that more operational Community Radio Stations come up across India. Some of the most recently granted Wireless Operating License (WOL) holders also shared their experiences of attending the Screening Committee meeting and gave views on further refining the Committee.
