What all form of support should an applicant expect from the Community Radio Facilitation Centre (CRFC)?

The Community Radio Facilitation Centre (CRFC) provides guidance to new Community Radio applicants who aspire to set up a Community Radio Station, those who have already obtained a Letter of Intent (LOI) from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and functional Community Radio Stations. CRFC aims to facilitate Community Radio applicants through various stages of licensing, coordinates and liaise with different ministries to expedite clearances, create and enhance support systems and mechanisms.

In addition of supporting Community Radio Cell of Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, CRFC strives to facilitate close coordination among key ministries for expediting inter-ministerial clearances and sensitise the various ministries and departments related to social welfare on tapping the potential of Community Radio. It also helps Community Radio Stations to get empanelled with DAVP.
